The Sri Lankan Society for Microbiology (SSM) successfully concluded its 14th Annual Conference and Scientific Sessions titled “Uncovering Microbial Synergy in Sri Lanka and Beyond” held on 31st January 2026 at IIHS Multiversity, Wattala.

The conference featured insightful plenary addresses, engaging free paper and poster sessions across multiple thematic areas, and vibrant discussions that highlighted current advances in microbiology, One Health, and antimicrobial resistance.
